Configure Knowbler in FreshService
For Knowbler to generate knowledge articles in Khoros, it has to be installed as an application in FreshService. This article documents the steps.
To start, download the Knowbler app created for FreshService.

Upload Knowbler App in FreshService

Log into your FreshService account as an admin.

Go to Admin > Helpdesk Productivity > Apps.

Click Go to Developer Portal.

Click New App and select Custom App. A sample URL for your custom app is: https://[organisation].myfreshworks.com/developer/new?type=custom-app.

In the What do we call your app? field, enter a meaningful name (2-3 words)

From What type of app is this?, select Custom App.

In the Custom App section, click Upload App.

Select the packed zip file from your computer and click Open.

Click Proceed or Save and Continue.
Install and Activate the Knowbler App

Enter the required information while the app is in the Draft stage.

Navigate to Admin > Helpdesk Productivity > Apps > Manage Apps > Custom Apps.

Find your app in the list.

Click Install.

Provide the installation parameters, if they are required.

Click Complete to finish the installation.
Update the Knowbler App
The changes made in FreshService or Khoros in Knowbler do not reflect automatically in your FreshService app. For the changes to reflect in FreshService, you have to upload it again into your FreshService instance.

Make changes to your local app code.

Run fdk validate and fdk pack again.

In the Developer Portal, find your app.

Click Add new version or Replace App file.

Upload the new zip file.

The app will update in your FreshService instance.

Go to the FreshService instance and install and enable the app:
